Keeping in mind we did not design the front-end of this website (what you’d find if you search for the company), we spent all summer of 2011 building what they call their ‘black box.’ Built using CodeIgniter and the inner-brain workings of our amazing Keith Morgan, Centivise tracks complex federal tax incentives then spits out IRS-ready forms on a quarterly and annual basis to allow small businesses to take advantage.

The system is complex, the logic even more-so. We allow the client to track not only employees and all of their payroll data, but the sales brokers that sell the service, the clients that own multiple locations or branches, and the reports that generate their tax deductions and invoices. We’re excited to iterate this project to include more state and local incentives so that small businesses can truly benefit from the incentives.
