Hoola Monsters

June 2nd, 2010

By far one of the most fun designs to work on, Hoola Monsters came in with all kinds of content.  Amazing photography, custom videos, calendars and eCommerce.  We went crazy with @fontface to give it a grungy, punk feel that fit their performance style well.

Based on where the company was at, we built an affordable WordPress-based website that is fully customized and allows them to sell their hoops through Paypal,   We also integrated their Google calendar, added another events listing page, added News posts, Flickr and YouTube galleries.

eBridge Solutions

June 2nd, 2010

This site started from the ground up with a very goal-oriented strategic process and ended up being a major struggle. When we try to design to incite user action, we also have to take client ideas of what’s right and wrong to heart.  Everyone ends up with a better site when we can compromise and still feel good about our decisions.

Because the site is on a highly-secured Windows server, we did not have access to integrate a content management system, so we used old-school server-side includes to help their marketing department with maintenance of the dynamic areas of the site.

Conservative Energy Group

April 19th, 2010

Launching a new commercial lighting company in a competitive market is tough, so we wanted to be sure to pull as much search engine traffic as possible while offering simple calls to action for visitors.

Adding a plethora of educational information combined with full product details and industry-specific solutions, we helped CEG build a thoughtful, well-balanced site. Easy enough for the layman to understand, yet chalk full of specs for the experienced plant operator.

Developed on Expression Engine for easy updates by the client, this site also uses a creative site structure and goal-oriented design.

Kudos from the client … “I want to thank you again for the great website.  You have gone above and beyond my expectations with site layout, functionality and overall simplicity.  I also love the ease and control I have over the content of site, which has nearly 150 pages as of today.”

Valrock Music

March 12th, 2010

Built on Expression Engine, this site was an exercise in organization.

The New York City client called us just a month before a big CD release show looking for a way to start publicizing both the artists and selling the music on her new music label.  We took the many ideas she had and directions she was pursuing and created an organized and well-constructed site.

We are using PayPal to sell her CDs and digital downloads;  have a simple music player to preview the music and she’s able to edit it all through her ExpressionEngine Content Management System.  The site is scalable and flexible for growth.

eAgent Solutions

February 1st, 2010

Document management for insurance agents can certainly be a boring topic – which doesn’t make for great design. To help engage visitors and make eAgent’s tools really grab attention, we designed a colorful, goal-driven website full of bright colors and smiling models.

Instead of your typical client-driven content, we employed a comprehensive content strategy to refine the key benefits of the eAgent products and distill their most important website goals.

The result is a solution-oriented layout with cliche-free language that actually makes sense.

The Price Group Realty

December 11th, 2009

Based in St. Petersburg, Florida, David Price new a long time ago that competing for the broad keywords like ‘Tampa Bay Real Estate’ was a bad idea.  Instead, we talked about David’s niche neighborhoods, and built a site to feature those areas where he’s an expert – and where he likes to work most.

This site is frequently updated with his listings through an easy-to-use Listing Manager, links to recent sales and available properties in all of his favorite neighborhoods, and is a SEO powerhouse – especially for his niche neighborhoods.  (Google “downtown st. pete condos” and see!).

Catering by Miller’s Cafe

December 10th, 2009

Search engine optimization was vital for Miller’s Cafe, so we built a site loaded with keywords and put it on a great domain.  The site is currently 4th in Google for their target key phrase – catering tampa – and the site is bringing frequent contact form requests for quotes.

The site is built on Interactive Tool’s Content Management System, an easy to use modular CMS that allows them to add and edit content or update their menus and pricing whenever necessary.

Physician’s Imaging Center

December 10th, 2009

Built on WordPress so it’s easily updated, the Physician’s Imaging Center needed a modern look to match their state-of-the-art imaging center in Hollywood, Florida.

Keeping an eye on simple navigation for non-native users (and incorporating translation tools in the footer), we built a site that shows off their GE Showsite with style.
